Characteristics of surgik's Chromic & Plain GUT sutures: |
| |
- Drill End needles for maximum strength between thread and needles
- Purity of collagen for optimal tensile strength
- Due to rapid absorption catgut elicits minimal reaction in tissues
- Surface smoothness to facilitate knot run-down and knot strength
- Ideal for tissues which heals rapidly and requiere minimal support
- Precise knot placement
- Strength duration Chromic Gut: 20-30 days
- Strength duration Plain Gut: 7-10 days
