Surgik's Polyglycolic Acid suture better know as PGA is a braided coated synthetic absorbable, surgical suture composed of glycolide, a nonantigenic and nonpyrogenic polimer. PGA is indicated for use in general soft tissue approximation and/or ligation, including use in ophthalmic procedures, but not for use in cardiovascular and neurological procedures. Our PGA sutures meet all requirements established by the United States Pharmacopoeia (USP). Our needles are made of special surgical grade 400 Series stainless steel to provide both strength and flexibility.
